The Lyles College of Engineering at Fresno State will hold its 22nd Fall Commencement at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at the Satellite Student Union at Fresno State with 45 candidates (40 undergraduates and five master’s). Opening remarks for the free, public celebration begin at 10:10 a.m. with Brad Hyatt, chair of construction management; Dr. Arezoo Sadrinezhad, assistant professor of civil engineering; and Susana Maciel, civil engineering undergraduate. University President Joseph I. Castro and Dr. Ram Nunna, dean of the Lyles College of Engineering, will also speak. Dr. James Marshall, dean of the Division of Research and Graduate Studies, will lead the hooding ceremony for master’s graduates, followed by the president’s conferring of degrees.
